To request a development course shell, complete the form below.
When completing the form, please be aware of the following:
All Courses will be Blackboard CE 6.
Do not request production course shells, they are created
automatically when a course is entered in Banner.
Please complete the form once for each development course you need.
If you want a course shell for experimentation, we suggest you
request one with a title such as "Test Course", which will then be followed by your full name
to distinguish it as yours.
Both development courses and production courses
will appear on the same server and in the same alphabetical listing of
courses on your My Blackboard page. In order to distinguish
development courses from production courses the title you specify in the Course Title
field will have the text "Z - Dev Course - " prefixed to it.
The online form requests an "Ed Tech Center
Designer." This person will be added as both a Section Designer
and a Teaching Assistant in your course. Without this dual role,
the Ed Tech Center staff member will be unable to fully assist you when
problems occur.
