Eli Goldblatt: Conference Keynote

Along with many books of poetry, Eli Goldblatt is the author of Round My Way: Authority and Double Consciousness in Three Urban High School Writers as well as Because We Live Here: Sponsoring Literacy Beyond the College Curriculum. Eli’s work has also appeared in College English, Writing on the Edge, Community Literacy, and other journals. Eli is the Director of First-Year Writing and an associate professor of English at Temple University. He directs New City Writing, a community-outreach program affiliated with Temple University that liaisons with K-8 Temple Partnership Schools and other area literacy and learning centers.

M.T. Anderson is the author of Feed (a National Book Award Finalist), The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing, Traitor to the Nation, Volume 1: The Pox Party (National Book Award Winner) and Volume 2: The Kingdom on the Waves, as well as numerous other books for young adults and younger readers.
